Manuscript Submission Rules
for Agent/Editor Individual Appointment

All Murder In The Grove enrollees who have registered for the Writer's Package will be eligible for an individual agent appoint IF THEY WISH TO HAVE ONE. If you don't feel ready to talk to an agent about your work at this time, that's not a problem. Appointments will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

1. You must be registered for the conference's Writer's Package

2. In a large envelope submit two (2) copies of the first ten pages of your manuscript and synopsis with your name on each page.

Note: the length of the synopsis should be no more than five (5) pages.  

Absolutely no faxes or e-mail submissions will be accepted.

3. Include a cover sheet with your name, address, phone number and e-mail address (important).

4. The manuscript must be in standard submission format: typed, double-spaced in 12-point Times New Roman, Courier, or other highly readable font, with one-inch margins on all sides.

5. Agent/editor manuscript submissions must be received by the Murder in the Grove committee by _______. Manuscripts will not be accepted until February 1, 2008. Manuscripts should be sent to:

6. Confirmation of receipt of your material will be sent by e-mail. If you don't have e-mail, please include a self-addressed, stamped postcard.

7. Submissions not picked up at scheduled appointments will not be returned.
